This 90’ documentary produced for France Télévision in 2024 retraces the extraordinary life and action of Jean Monnet, from his youth as a cognac merchant in the Canadian Rockies, to his role as the architect of the first European community and the relentless architect of European integration until his death in 1979. The lessons of Jean Monnet’s vision and action have seldom been more relevant than today and are both a source of inspiration and a manual for action.
